My Story

Hello, I’m Evy Hebert a teenage artist, with a love for all things art, and welcome to Petite Lapin!

Petite Lapin, French for little bunny, was inspired from my childhood stuffed animal, namely “Bunny”, and my french last name, Hebert. The name actually came to me as a fourth grader when me and my friends built the first version of this company, to sell our handmade jewelry. We grew up and out of that dream but the name still existed. So I decided that it would be perfect to sell my beloved art.

I love making art, all types of art. I play the violin and guitar and write music with my friends, I read and write, and I love to put my paintbrush to the paper and create new art pieces. Especially when that art is watercolor. There is so much you can do with watercolor, it is my favorite medium to use. My grandma got me a watercolor set a few years ago and I have used it ever since.

While I paint, I always have a little music playing, and a smile on my face. I hope my art brings a smile to your face too, and maybe even inspires you to create your own art.
